8 Reasons to book your consultation

Why book with Arthritis & Injury Care Centre?  Here are eight reasons why!

1. One-on-one meeting with a Certified Bracing Specialist

When you book your appointment at Arthritis and Injury Care, you get the full attention of the Certified Bracing Specialist. You get to sit down, one-on-one, to discuss your injury/pain, and ask all your questions. The more questions the better – we encourage them!

2. Learn more about your condition

Through the consultation, your Certified Bracing Specialist will educate you on your condition. The more you know about what is happening in your body, the better equipped you will be to manage your condition.

3. Learn more about your treatment and management options

Along with education on your condition, your Certified Bracing Specialist will provide you with knowledge of possible treatment and pain management options. They will give detailed explanations on how each can be of benefit to you and how it works to relieve pain or lead to healthy recovery.  Some common treatment options discussed include:

4. Get back to your daily activities

Injuries and pain can interrupt your daily activities, whether it be playing a competitive sport, doing household chores, or crawling around on the floor with your grandkids. Your consultation can result in a solution that will help you return to these activities to maintain a healthy active lifestyle.

 5. Assistance with navigating your private insurance

Navigating through insurance information can sometimes be difficult and/or confusing. When you come in for a consultation, our administrative staff will offer to contact your private insurance company to find out specific coverage details regarding your treatment. When it is possible, we will take the necessary steps to direct bill your insurance. Where direct billing is not allowable, we will walk you through the steps necessary to submit your claim.

6. We offer weekend and evening appointments

We want to be able to accommodate your busy schedule. One of our HRM clinics (Clayton Park, or Dartmouth) is open every Saturday from 9am-2pm. The schedule rotates between the two clinics, so call to find out where you can have your consultation on a Saturday! As well, we are available for appointments in the evenings at our Halifax and Dartmouth locations.

7. It’s a free, no obligation consultation

Who doesn’t like free?  Your consultation is at no charge and comes with no obligation. We want to be able to provide you with the knowledge to make an educated decision on your treatment and pain management. Again, the more you know about your condition and treatment options, the more power you have to make the best decision for you. It is our pleasure to be that source of information.

*Some exceptions apply – for full details contact our offices!*

8. We are here for you!

Even after you leave the clinic, we are here to answer any questions or concerns you might have. Do not hesitate to call or stop back in!
