| On recommendation from my orthopaedic surgeon and some friends, it was suggested that I obtain the “Kodiak” ice machine when I had my knee replacement – which I did. It was by far the best thing I could have done. Using it I was able to cut down on my pain medication and it also helped my mobility, especially in the hospital. It was put on as soon as I got to my room and left on all night, I had no pain to speak of. On my arrival home rather than use ice cubes we filled some medium plastic containers with water and put them in the freezer, that worked exceptionally well. I also found it very easy to take it off and on my knee if I had to. I will not hesitate to recommend the machine to any friends and acquaintances who are having knee surgery, as it was a godsend. I am on the list to have my other knee replaced and you can rest assured I will be in to see you when that happens. It’s a wonderful machine. Regards -Joan Campbell |

| I need the brace because in March 2002 I was involved in car pedestrian accident and received a lot of overall body damage, but a lot of damage to my legs. Because of the brace I am able to do a certain amount of gardening and things that I love to do before I was hurt and without the brace now I would not have the ability to be able to do those things at all. ..... Even the medical doctors thought I would never go beyond a wheel chair and I am walking. |

| I wear the brace because I had an ACL allograft done to my left knee and since the injury occurred I need the extra support in order to function with my day to day activities including my job which is personal training. I have over 120 clients as a personal trainer and a few of them do have knee injuries and I have recommended BREG braces to them, that and they saw me wear it day to day here. So not only do I recommend it, but people ask about it too. Before wearing the brace I was always uneasy about my knee. I didn’t trust it when I was even walking or taking long strides or light jogs or playing with my dog, any kind of activity at all. If I didn’t wear my brace I didn’t feel comfortable like I would have my leg under me at all times so it just added that extra confidence to my stride. | I need the brace because a number of years ago I was diagnosed with osteoarthritis of the right knee and it’s really quite painful and the brace has really stabilized the knee. It has allowed me to continue to do sports, particularly golf which is my favourite pastime. It’s really made a big difference to the kind of pain that I experience. For example yesterday I was in the office in the morning and my knee was really quite sore I had 2 or 3 episodes you know when it gets that sore you almost want to fall down, I put the brace on, walked 18 holes of golf yesterday and it didn’t bother me at all on the golf course. I would definitely recommend the BREG brace for somebody it’s been very helpful to me. |
