Tim Carr graduated from Saint Francis Xavier University with honours. He has over eight years of clinical experience. Tim worked clinically as a certified kinesiologist, conducting assessments and developing, implementing and supervising exercise and back to work programs, at physiotherapy clinics in New Brunswick and Halifax.
Joining the Arthritis and Injury Care Center Team, Tim has been an Orthopedic Bracing Specialist since 2004 years, working closely with Orthopaedic Surgeons and General Physicians to care for their patients. After 5 years of intense study and apprenticeship, Tim is now a Certified Pedorthist, having passed the Pedorthic Association of Canada final exams in October 2008 with top marks in the region.
Carina Shortliffe

Following the completion of a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Dalhousie University in Halifax, Carina went on to pursue a Master of Science in Kinesiology with a specialization in Fitness at York University in Toronto.
During her academic career Carina worked with and trained individuals with asthma, diabetes, cerebral palsy, MS, and Spina bifida. As an Exercise Physiologist she has conducted numerous occupational fitness assessments for the Toronto and surrounding area firefighters. She has also provided fitness testing to the NHL entry draft combines and Toronto Maple Leaf Hockey Players.
Carina has always led an active life and continues to do so. She truly believes that leading an active and healthy lifestyle can aid in any rehabilitation setting.
